April Showers Bring May Flowers!

Hi Everyone,
Happy first day of May and International Workers' Day!  We will really start to see more flowers blooming and trees showing their leaves.  This is a time to enjoy the great outdoors and pick up some old or new hobbies like bird watching.  I have identified at least 10 different bird species that enjoy my backyard.  I also hear lots of different bird sounds, which is pretty cool too!

Google Classroom
It appears that things are going pretty well with Google Classroom.  Students are working to turn in assignments and I continue to give feedback and a completion "grade."

There is no "School" on Tuesday, May 5.  While we have been told that there is no remote learning technically on Tuesday, I will provide some fun activities that your child can do but like I said it is a technical day off.  Students can choose to do the activities but it isn't required.  This might be a nice day to go off the grid and enjoy a break from screen time.  If that isn't something for you and your family, then I will still provide learning opportunities to keep within the continuity of the week.

Ms. Rubin - Congratulations!
We are so proud of Ms. Rubin!  Ms. Rubin has graduated from the U of M and she got a 4th-grade teaching position in Maryland starting in the fall!!  We want to wish her the best in the next chapter of her life.  Congratulations!
