We LOVE February!

Hi Everyone, It is great to be back!  I learned so much when I was gone and can't wait to share that with our community.  While I was gone, students did a fantastic job with Ms. Rubin and Ms. Epstein as their guest teachers.  Ms. Rubin has really gotten closer to the students and spent even more time honing her skills. Winter Survival Field Trip - Monday, February 10 If your child is not planning on attending, please let me know ASAP.  Thanks!  Parent chaperones are not needed for this field trip. Teachers and naturalists will be on-site helping out along with teachers. As the field trip approaches, please  WATCH THE WEATHER (which changes daily)  and check it the day before to ensure your child is prepared.  Children must be appropriately dressed to attend the trip as we will be spending most of the day outside. MLK Day! Three Day Weekend!

Hi Everyone, What a wonderful MLK assembly we had today with our students.  Our choir sang such a beautiful song!  As we reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all of the amazing people who helped and still help our world to be an equitable place, we remember what people have done and sacrificed for us.  Our students have a safe place to thrive and learn and I am so grateful for that. Welcome Back! 2020!

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year!  It was so great to see your kids again.  I missed them!  We had a productive first week back.  Students did a great job getting right back in the routines.  We already set goals for the week, revisited our mission statement, and assessed whether we are reaching those goals.  We are back in the swing of things and ready for a great 2020 year of learning!
